Alberta Jones Taylor, age 88, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Alberta was born on March 27, 1933 in Little Rock, AR. She was preceded in death by her husband Dan Taylor Sr; parents Leroy and Mary Alice Jones and Alfreda Jones (step-mother) and 2 sisters: Edith Johnson and Judith Watts.
She is survived by 4 children: Franchella Kendall (Milton); Deborah Brown; Dan Taylor Jr. and Reginald Taylor; 8 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
She also leaves behind her sister Mary Alice Blackburn, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mrs. Taylor graduated from Dunbar Junior College in Little Rock, Ar.
She retired from the Little Rock School District, where she held the position of “registrar” at Parkview High school. Mrs. Taylor was also the sponsor of the Parkview Liberty Bells drill team. She was a member of St Marks Baptist Church, Little Rock, AR
She enjoyed being with her family, traveling; attending and watching sports; and listening to music. She enjoyed life!!
A graveside service will be held at the Pinecrest Cemetery at 11:00 am, Friday December 3, 2021, located at 7401 Highway 5 N. Alexander, AR 72202.
