Passed away May 8, 2025 after a brief and hard-fought battle with Glioblastoma Brain Cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Harvey and Bessie Rice; and great grandson Link Landherr.
Beth was bom November 23, 1938, in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. Upon graduation from high school she moved to Little Rock, Arkansas to attend SVI School of Nursing. It was during this time that she met the love of her life during a church retreat to Petit Jean State Park. Beth and Lloyd were married on February 20, 1960. After a break when she started her family she resumed and finished her degree graduating in 1966.
Her nursing career began at St Vincent's Hospital, but she worked most of her career with TCS Orthopedic Clinic, which later became Ortho Arkansas. She retired in 2000 and started her obsession with traveling wherever and whenever someone said go. Beth had her suitcase at the ready. She was on a mission to visit all the State Capitals and visited most of them. She loved cruising with her friends and family the most, always ready to book the next adventure once she returned.
Beth kept in touch throughout the years with many of her classmates she began nursing school with, and thoroughly enjoyed their reunions... helping to plan many of them.
