Carl Lee Hollingsworth, Jr., age 82, of Benton, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023. Carl was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to the late Lula (Garner) Hollingsworth and Carl Lee Hollingsworth, Sr. He is also preceded in death by his infant daughter Lisha Ann Hollingsworth; his sister Sarah Dunham and his sister Carolyn Beavers.
Carl loved being a husband, father, and grandfather, you can say he was a family man. He loved making memories while golfing, bowling, and playing baseball in college. He was a member of the Hurricane Creek Golf Club. Carl retired from Arkansas Farm Bureau after 36 years of faithful service and building relationships with his community.
Carl is survived by his wife of 33 years, Aletta (Eades) Hollingsworth; his son Alan Hollingsworth of Alexander; and his daughter Becky Earhart (Joe) of Mabelvale; his grandchild Lisha Yates (Jacob), his grandchild Jacob Hollingsworth; his grandchild Jessica Hollingsworth; and mother of his children Barbara.
A memorial gathering for Carl will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Pinecrest Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 7401 Highway 5 N, Alexander, Arkansas 72002.
