Charlotte Ann Eagle

Charlotte Jones Eagle, born on August 13, 1938, in Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on December 26, 2024. She was a vibrant and devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and a friend to many. Charlotte was a 1956 graduate of Central High School and a member of the dance team, a passion she carried throughout her life. Her journey was marked by her unwavering support for her family and a deep commitment to the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Willie Eagle; son, Keith Owens; as well as her parents, Gwendolyn Whitehead and George L. Jones and partner, Don Clark. Charlotte is survived by her brother, George Jones of California (Ruth Ann); daughter, Sandra McKelvey of Little Rock (Chuck Bajorek); sons, Scott Knight of Little Rock, Greg Knight of Little Rock (Darla) and Dennis Owens of Florida (Risa). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Beyond being a devoted and proud mother, Charlotte was equally proud of her contributions to the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. She built lasting lifelong friendships and achieved remarkable accomplishments that touched the lives of all who knew her. Her journey inspired those fortunate enough to be a part of it, fostering pride in her unwavering dedication and the difference she made. Besides her family, her most proud accomplishment was serving as Arkansas State Madam President. for the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 Highway 5 N, Alexander, AR 72002 with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. with service beginning at 3:30 p.m.. Friends and family are invited to join us in honoring

Charlotte’s incredible life, a life that touched the hearts of many and left behind a lasting legacy of love, friendship, strength and inspiration.
