

Clyde Garland Smith, born 10/6/1932 at Belfast in Grant county of Arkansas, has been reunited with those that have gone before him: Ruby Sue (Watson) Smith (wife); William Clyde Smith (father) and Myrtle Alvern (Croy) Smith (mother), both of Redfield; Dorothy Lee Smithers (sister) of Oklahoma and a whole host of family and friends. He leaves behind: Nita Ellen (Smith) Clark (Richard); Joy Lynne Smith; Lisa Gay Smith and Bradley Clyde Smith (Jennifer); grandchildren, Brandon Clyde Smith; Andrew Richard Smith (Gabrielle), Nathanial Garland Smith (Ruthie), Mercedes Kreyer, Sebastian Lee, and Ashley Lee; 2 great grandsons Ranger and Woodson Smith; Uncle to DeRhonda Lee Adkins, Dianna Lee Grow, David Lee Wimsett and Denise Lee Pyle; and a whole bunch/assortment of family, friends and associates.
Clyde was a prominent leader in the mission of South Highland Baptist Church as a deacon, Sunday School director, youth group leader, nominating personnel, buildings & grounds committees. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. Many great memories were made on those weekend trips.
Clyde was the oldest licensed plumber in Arkansas, at the time of his death. He was a Lifetime Master Plumber and owner of Oak Forest Plumbing Co. for 65 years.
Family will receive visitors at Pinecrest Funeral Home in Alexander, AR on Sunday, August 6, 2023 from 2:00-4:00PM. Funeral service will be Monday , August 7, 2023 at 10:00AM immediately followed by interment.
