

Danny Marvel, born June 16, 1948, in Price Utah, to the late Albert and Hazel Poyner Marvel of Benton. He passed away at home on March 6, 2024, with his wife, Charlotte Marvel, by his side after an extended illness. Preceding him in death: Brothers, Bruce (Pat) Marvel, Wayne and wife (Marilyn), and Richard Marvel, also various nieces and nephews. Survived by siblings: Alberta Thomas (Barling, AR) Dean Marvel (Conway, AR), Carolyn Ferrell (Benton, AR) Wanda Marvel (Columbia, MO) Michael Marvel (Columbia, MO).
Immediate Survivors include: Wife, Charlotte Marvel, of Benton, daughter, Christy Marvel (Evan Webster) and son Randy Marvel (Crystal) grandsons Gage Marvel, Ben Terry and Emmanuel Ejeh and granddaughters, Danielle Russo, Dixie Terry (Jeff), Destinee-Marvel Caldwell (Ben Caldwell), Emma Russo.
Danny’s career consisted of operating heavy equipment all over the Eastern and Southern United States which he thoroughly enjoyed. He also enjoyed being in the Lord’s service each and every day and was a member of a Missionary Baptist Church. Danny was an avid Razorback fan. Danny acquired polio around age two (2), but never let it define him. He continued life with a strength and a fierce combative nature that was unmatched. His unyielding ability to fight and never surrender, bode him well as he fought hard in his final days to be with family.
A visitation for Danny will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 5:00 PM at Temple Missionary Baptist Church, 3215 Coats Rd, Benton, Arkansas 72015, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM.
