Debbie was first and foremost a devoted mother. She spent her early years as a stay-at-home mom, pouring her love and energy into raising her children. In later years, she worked as a licensor coordinator for an insurance company until her retirement. While she was dedicated to her work, her heart was always with her family.
After the passing of her husband, Jackie Duncan, Debbie discovered a new joy in dancing and found comfort in time spent with friends. She also enjoyed doing puzzles and treasured movie days with her grandchildren—special moments that brought her peace and happiness.
Debbie was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Duncan, and her daughter, Heather Duncan. She is survived by her daughters, Brittany Westbrook and Chastity Duncan; her son-in-law, Bryan Westbrook—who held a special place in her heart; five grandchildren who adored her; and six siblings located across various states, three of whom have passed before her.
Debbie shared a deep bond with a few close friends who were more like family than friends. Over the years, their support, laughter, and love brought her great comfort and joy, and those connections remained meaningful throughout her life.
She was a strong, independent woman who loved her family fiercely and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd at 11:00 AM at Pinecrest Funeral Home, located at 7401 AR-5, Alexander, AR 72002.
