It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Floyd Anthony Pruss of Little Rock, AR. He was 75. He is preceded in death by his parents August and Seraphine Pruss, brother John, sister Kathy, and wife and best friend Peggy. He left this world suddenly in the early hours of June 16th, 2023, leaving behind a void that can never be filled and a beloved daughter Kimberly Pruss, sister Marilyn Pruss, brothers Mike (Theresa) and Tony (Irene) Pruss and sister in law Mary-Ann Pruss.
Born on December 18th, 1947, Floyd lived a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. He was always kind, cool, calm and collected. He touched the lives of everyone he encountered, leaving lasting impressions and beautiful memories. His generous spirit, laid-back nature, and warm smile were contagious, brightening the lives of those around him.
Floyd truly embraced life to the fullest. He had an adventurous–and sometimes stubborn–spirit, and his enthusiasm was infectious. Whether it was skiing with his wife, traveling with his daughter, or buying lots of treats for their dogs, Floyd approached everything with great zest, and his active nature was an inspiration to all.
Floyd was known for his remarkable accomplishments in HVAC, and as the founder and owner of KNP Supplies. He dedicated his life to improving the connection between indoor air quality and health. Over the course of his career, he was active in many contractor associations in the south and beyond. His unwavering dedication, relentless pursuit of excellence, and innovative ideas have inspired countless individuals, and his legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.
In his young adult life, he was a lover, a troublemaker and served in the Arkansas National Guard. He celebrated life fully and loved going out in the sun and throwing parties.
Above all, Floyd valued his relationships and the love he shared with his family and friends. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, brother, son, and uncle. always offering a listening ear, sage advice, and unconditional support. His presence brought joy and comfort to those in need, and his absence will be deeply felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
In the hearts of his loved ones, Floyd Pruss will be forever cherished and remembered.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Floyd Pruss will be held on
Thursday, the 22nd from 6 to 8 PM for the visitation and
Friday, the 23rd at 10am for the funeral service,
both taking place at Pinecrest Funeral Home & Memorial Park.
In this time of mourning, friends, family, and all those whose lives were touched by Floyd Pruss are welcome to join in remembering and honoring his extraordinary life.
Rest in peace, Floyd Pruss, a loving and dedicated Father, Brother and Son.
