Helen was born February 10, 1938 in Little Rock, AR to Sion and Clara Moss. She is survived by her brother Sion Moss (Linda), daughter Susan Ward Gray (Steve) and son Gordon Bert Ward III (Stephanie), grandchildren Gordon Bert Ward IV (Marybeth), Asher Thomas Gray, Grace Catherine Ward, Mary Elizabeth Ward, Sarah Gray McCarley (Matthew) and Madelyn Clara Ward, great-grandchildren Gordon Bert Ward V and Elijah Edwin Ward.
Helen was a beloved mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, gardening, her dog Button and most of all bible study. She spent the vast majority of her adult life leading other women in bible study through Bible Study Fellowship, Precept Ministries and Community Bible Study.
Her family remembers her as always being available when someone needed advice and reminding them that their strength and guidance should come from the Lord. She will be greatly missed by them but they rejoice in knowing that she is with her Lord and Savior.
A funeral service will be held Monday, August 15, 2022 at Fellowship Bible Church in the chapel at 2:30 PM. Visitation will follow. A private burial will be held prior to the funeral service.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Encore at West Little Rock who cared for Helen, especially Ashley, Casey, Kat, Neah, Zelma, and Jimmy.
