It is with deep sorrow and profound respect that we announce the passing of Jerry Wayne Dixon, who left us peacefully on June 6, 2024 at the age of 71. Jerry was a cherished friend, and an inspiring individual whose life was a testament to resilience, courage, and the limitless power of the human spirit.
Born on January 27, 1953. Jerry lived the past 13+ Years at Pathfinder at Alexander Group Home and Longwood ICF. During this time, he has been full of smiles, quarters, dollars, ice cream, chicken sandwiches, great drawings, and all of the snacks. He enjoyed attending Pickens Day Program in Jacksonville, and most recently working at New Hope in Searcy. Jerry was a beacon of hope and strength to everyone around him.
A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held on June 13th, at 2:00PM at Pinecrest Funeral Home, where friends will gather to remember his remarkable journey and the joy he brought to so many.
Rest in peace, Jerry. Your light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts, reminding us of the extraordinary impact one life can have.
