He was born May 21, 1934 in Little Rock. He is survived by his wife of 20 years Deloris James and son Brian James (Jennifer). Three grandchildren, Blake James (Danielle), Brittany Coleman (Kevin), Lauren Lennon (Jake) and one great grandson Parker Coleman. He leaves behind many beloved family members and friends.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Ocie and Lois James, two daughters Brenda and Melissa James, two sisters Alta Christine Halligan and Joyce Laverne Roller.
J.T. was a retired cattleman and a production specialist for Stone Container for 32 years. He enjoyed golfing, gardening and traveling with family. He was a devoted member of Mablevale Church of Christ where he loved to share his garden vegetables with his church family.
A visitation for J.T. will be held July 24,2025 from 10 AM to 11 AM at Pinecrest Funeral Home, 7401 Hwy 5 N Alexander, Arkansas 72002. A celebration of life will be at 11 AM with burial following at Memorial Park.
