John Loa was a good hearted soul who was willing to help anyone who asked. John loved sports. So much so that during the late 70's into the 80's he gave back to the community by coaching Football, Baseball and Little League (T-Ball). Over the years John was reminded by former players how much they enjoyed him coaching their teams. There were a lot of nights where children needed a ride home after the game or practice and he made sure they got home safe or stayed with the kids on the ball field until their parents arrive to pick them up. John also loved History. He had a strong interest in Military history, especially military technology and the events of World War II. John's past time was reading. He enjoy visiting the Arkansas lakes and rivers. He loved going to the beaches of Florida and spending time in the ocean, catching the waves and seeing the dolphins and stingrays. He liked trying out new places to go and visit. Most of all....he loved his family. John always had a great sense of humor. He enjoy cutting up and teasing others as well as listening to you if you need someone to talk to. He liked to dance, listen to different types of music, watch his favorite teams and talk to his old classmates from High School and the men he served with in the Air Force. John will be missed by so many who loved him and cherished the friendships he developed with them over the years.
