

Ken was a family man and cherished his time with them, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed going camping, golfing, and traveling. Ken was also a builder of many things, there was nothing he couldn’t build.
After high school, Ken joined the United States Air Force and proudly served his country for 4 years. He then went on to work as a civilian at the Pine Bluff Arsenal. He retired as Director of Chemical Mission Operations at the Pine Bluff Chemical Activity. Ken received numerous awards in recognition of his work at Pine Bluff Chemical Activity and Chemical Materials Activity. He was recognized as a subject matter expert in the storage and transportation of the chemical munition stockpile.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 24 years, Darla Dunemn; his mother, Louise Dunemn; children: Dawn Dunemn, Mark Dunemn, Taylor (Layla) Simmons, and Dustin (Brianna) Simmons; grandchildren: Hunter, Addison, Emersyn, and Avery; great grandchild, Harlow; sister, Shiela (Dale) Childers; and niece, Monica Bazan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charley Dunemn.
A celebration of Ken’s life will be held 2:00 pm, Monday, December 21, 2020 at Pinecrest Funeral Home.
