

Mark Andrew Alpe, 59, of Bryant, AR was born September 29, 1965 in Little Rock, AR, the first born child of Andrew Jr. and Mary Jane Alpe and passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025 in Little Rock, in peace, pain free and surrounded by those who loved him.
Mark was a 1984 graduate of Bryant High School. He played football from the 7th grade thru senior year and was an All Conference Honorable Mention and the team's Mr. Hustle recipient. Mark briefly attended UALR after graduation but soon was drawn to trade school where he earned HVAC certification. He was an air conditioning heat and ductwork service technician for nearly 30 years. Mark spent the last 12 years of his life working for himself, doing not just AC work but contracting carpentry, plumbing and electrical work that ran the gamut. He could fix dang near anything and made hundreds of friends along the way. He was an avid outdoorsman. hunter and fisher from birth and mentored many, many friends and family during his short lifetime. He loved his zero-turn radius lawnmower but hated to weedeat and loved his dogs Isabella Deshea and Sierra Rayne and his girlfriend Tina.
Mark is preceded in death by his grandparents, Andrew Sr. and Stella Alpe and Cary and Easter Ball, and his parents Andrew "Buddy" and Mary Jane Alpe and his little brother Ronnie. He is survived by his adoring sister Amy Alpe of Bryant, his cousin-brother Gary Haynie of East Lake, his life partner Tina Haisten, and a host of lifelong friends, cousins and hangers-on. He leaves a big hole in many lives with his passing and will be greatly missed.
Visitation and service will be held at Pinecrest Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 12 with visitation from 4-6 p.m. and memorial service at 6. Mayor Chris Treat will be leading the services.
