Mary worked for many years as a dedicated bank teller, but it was her service at the Lakeside Baptist Church that defined much of her legacy. She led the Helping Hands Food Pantry for 15 years, offering support and kindness to those in need. Her love of people and her commitment to helping others were at the core of her character.
A woman of many interests, Mary had a passion for puzzles, which she enjoyed solving in her spare time. She also loved her dog, Buddy, and had a deep appreciation for coin collecting, a hobby that brought her joy throughout her life.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, George and Opal Rudisill, and her beloved husband, Jimmy Ray Dugger. She leaves behind a cherished family who will remember her kindness, strength, and unwavering love. Mary is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Carol Yates (Phil) and Rita Kay Courtney (Robert); her grandchildren, Aaron Yates (Stephanie), Kaylea Gustafson (Matthew), and Charity Lipscomb (Josh); as well as her great-grandson, Dylan Yates. She is also survived by her brother, Robert Glenn Rudisill (Ruth), along with a host of extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
