She retired after 30 years at South Western Bell and AT&T. She loved her sewing, going to flea markets and getting together with family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jess W. and Helen McMurtrey; Brother, Jess W. McMurtrey, Jr. and sister Joyce Taylor.
Patty is survived by her husband David Gill of Bryant; Two sisters Mary Cryer of Porter, TX and Lillian McQuillin (Clyde) of Benton, LA, as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers give donations to Saint Judes Hospital.
