Randall Gordon Grimmett

Randall (Randy) Gordon Grimmett, 81, of Little Rock passed away on Wednesday May 6, 2020. Randall was born in Little Rock on December 3, 1938; the son of Randall William and Mozelle Grimmett. He married his wife Bonnie (Simmons) Grimmett on April 25th, 1961, and shared 59 years of marriage. Randall received his BS in Business Administration from Little Rock University in 1963, and served in the Arkansas Air National Guard. He worked 40 years as a production coordinator for Stone Container Corporation formally Horner Box. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Randall was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, skiing, and scuba diving. He loved spending his spare time with family and friends, and keeping up with statistics from all his favorite sports teams including his beloved Arkansas Razorbacks.

Randall leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife Bonnie, son Darren Grimmett, daughter Ginger Grimmett, and grandchildren Rebecca and Sidney Grimmett. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Garry Grimmett.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2020 in Pinecrest Memorial Park, with services livestreamed on the Pinecrest Facebook page. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Randall’s honor may be made to the American Cancer Society.
