Richard Wayne Short

Richard served in the Marines and owned several businesses, including Short Oil Company, Trek Wrecker Service, and the Town Pump. He loved spending time with friends and family, hunting, fishing,

and tending to his garden.

Richard is survived by his brother Glenn Short (Jeanne). His children, Brent Short (Michele), Neal Cauley (Gayle), Kelly Gustavus (Donald), and Stacy Noble (Ed). His grandchildren Steve Short, Dustin Short

(Molly), Laurie Cauley, Brittney Nobles, and Jacob Cauley. His great-grandchildren Luke Short, Tatum Walton, Jaydon Nobles, and Braelyn Nobles. As well as nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Richard was preceded in death by his wife Lorene Short, his brother Ronald Short, and his grandson Brandon Cauley.

A visitation for Richard will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 9:00 AM at Pinecrest Funeral Home, 7401 Highway 5 N, Alexander, Arkansas 72002. The funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM.
