On June 22nd, 2025, Robert D. Trexler Sr., “KG5CR,” signed off for the final time. He was born on March 8th, 1943 to Earl Thomas Trexler and Hazel Alma Hagens in Nanty Glo, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents and the love of his life, Nancy Carolyn Pharris, whom he wed in 1964. Bob’s brothers, Eugene Thomas and William Francis Trexler, also left without him. Bob is survived by his son, Robert D. Trexler Jr, and daughter, Pamela S. White (Dennis). He is also survived by his granddaughters Elizabeth Silver (Christopher), Sarah Leal (Michael), and one great grandson, Oliver Robert. “KG5CR” leaves behind a host of family and friends as well as a community of HAM Radio Operators. Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 27th, at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Alexander, AR at 3PM. 73s to you all, KG5CR over and out.
