Thomas Louis Oglesby

Thomas Louis Oglesby, Jr., 73, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 after a long fight with cancer. He was preceded in death by one son, John Oglesby. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Delores Oglesby of Bryant; 3 sons, Thomas Oglesby and his wife, Lois, of Bryant, Willie Oglesby and his wife, Janet, of Salem, Michael Oglesby and his wife, Karry, of Bryant; his mother, Era Bea Yates Tarkington of Bryant; a brother, Glen Thomas Oglesby and his wife, Paula, of California; a sister, Jackie Barnes of Shannon Hills; 12 grandkids, Derek, John, Samantha, Tiffany, Amber, Kayla, Archie, Tori, Noah, Hunter, Jamie, and Kody; 8 great-grandkids, Aidan, Kaydyn, Hannah, Luke, Simon, Bailey, Kaydence and Landyn and many other family members and friends. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, AR 72002, with Chaplain Kim Hammer officiating. Burial will follow in Round Mountain Cemetery in Faulkner County, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
