Beloved husband of the late Retha Jackson, loving father of Phyllis Dunn (Robert) of Lorton, VA: Brenda Iftikhar (Mark) of Kissimmee, FL; James Jackson (Rina) of Alexandria, VA; and Gina Reid (Scott) of Windermere, FL. Adoring grandfather to 9 grandchildren and great-grandfather to 7 great-grandchildren and one great-grandson due in February. Loving son of the late Pearl W. Jackson of South Mills, NC and brother of J.B. Jackson of South Mills, NC and Frances B. “Susie” Taylor of Chesapeake, VA. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 25, 2010 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Demaine Funeral Home, 520 S. Washington St., Alexandria, VA. Funeral services will also be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Comfort Cemetery.
