E. Norene Dalbey

Norene passed away peacefully on May 17 with her daughter, Jennifer, and husband, Jeff, by her side. She was born in Weatherford, Oklahoma to Ervin and Edna Neufeld on September 17, 1941. She was preceded in death by her sister, Nadene, and is survived by her brother, Perry (i.e., Butch). She excelled as a devoted mother, an incomparable life companion, and the consummate grandmother to Jameson and Olivia. She cherished this role and fervently desired it to last longer than the nearly eight years she was allotted. After successful major cardiac surgery she could not overcome pre-existing cardiac and pulmonary conditions. The highlight of her work experiences were the years spent in several show rooms of the Washington Design Center. Her radiant smile and engaging manner greeted all those she encountered. Extensive international travel and being a resident in Hawaii and on three occasions in Germany were highlights of her life experiences.
