Born in Butler, PA on February 24, 1929, Edward was the son of the late Charles F. and Mary Riddle Koos. Edward
earned a BS degree in Electrical Engineering at the Carnegie Institute of Technology, Pittsburgh, PA in 1951. He went on to the Moore School in Philadelphia for graduate studies. Edward was preceeded in death by his loving wife Margaret Koos and two brothers Charles and Ernest Koos. He is survived by his step-son Gregg Chorebanian, one nephew Scott Koos, one niece Cheryl Koos, Sister-in-law Romayne Koos; and cousins Janet Benninger, Phyllis Biertempfel, Linda Koos and Phillip Koos. Friends may call the Demaine Funeral, 520 S. Washington Street, Alexandria, VA 22314 where the family will be present on Saturday, December 22nd from 10:00am - 1:00pm, eulogies may be given at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
