Elizabeth (Betty) Menz of Alexandria, VA died Tuesday Aug. 17th, 2010. She was born in Mckeesport, PA, daughter of the late Mike and Elizabeth (Miklos) Mihalov & beloved wife of the late Milton Menz. Betty graduated from Clairton High School and was retired from the Army Material Command and was a member of Epiphany Byzantine Catholic Church, Annandale, VA. and St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Alexandria, VA. She was preceded in death by son Brian Menz and brother Michael Mihalov. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Willie Williams, Alex., VA, and sons, Kevin Menz and significant other Karen Pohorylo Alex., VA, Douglas and daughter-in-law Laura Menz, Woodbridge, VA., Stephen Menz, Daytona Beach, FL., brother and sister-in-law Lawrence and Ginny Mihalov, Clairton, PA., twin sister Mary Ann Michaels, Alex., VA, grandchildren Mason and Madeline, nieces Michele Pascale and significant other Marco Lanzagorta, Alex., VA, Kelly and husband Tom Clements, Stella, NC, and numerous other nieces and nephews. Also, 3 beloved Labrador Retrievers, Molly, Millie and Abby. No viewing and no flowers. Funeral will be Monday, Aug. 23rd, 2010 at 10:00AM, St. Louis Catholic Church, Alex., VA. Burial immediately following at Mt. Comfort Cemetery, Alex., VA. Donations may be made to Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.
