Of Alexandria, Virginia died on Tuesday, July 8, 2014. He was Chief of Strategic Compensation Policy Center, U.S. Office of Personnel Management and retired as Special Assistant to the Chief Human Capital Officer of DHS. He is survived by Barbara Zygiel, his wife of 39 years and his brother Phillip Zygiel.
