Age 34 – Alexandria, Virginia
James “Jamie” Kish, 34, of Alexandria, Virginia, passed away on October 24, 2025.
Jamie was a devoted father, loving husband, and cherished son, brother, and friend. He shared more than a decade of love and laughter with his wife, Kelsey, and together they built a beautiful family filled with joy, humor, and love. Married for seven years, their greatest blessings are their children, Louie and Molly, who adored their dad.
Jamie’s true calling was fatherhood. He was playful, patient, and endlessly devoted—always ready with a silly joke, a warm hug, or a life lesson. Louie and Molly worshipped the ground he walked on, and he poured his whole heart into every moment with them.
Jamie loved music and shared that passion with his children. He introduced them to the joy of Blink-182, sang The Beatles to his daughter at bedtime, and danced to Freddie Mercury before their nightly routine. Each evening ended with “thirty hugs” for both Louie and Molly, a tradition that perfectly reflected his big heart and boundless love.
Jamie will be remembered for his bright smile, quick wit, and genuine kindness. He especially loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Pirates, and could often be found outside playing wiffle ball with his children or proudly wearing his Steelers jersey every Sunday.
He is survived by his wife Kelsey; his children Louie and Molly; his parents James (Jim) and Denise Kish; his sister Caitlyn Mistick, her husband Mike Mistick, and their daughters Emma and Sadie; and his grandmother Arlene Schlander. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
Jamie’s memory will live on through his children and in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. We will never forget his humor, kindness, and deep love for his family.
A Celebration of Jamie’s life will be held on November 1st, 2025 with a Visitation at 11:00am, a Service at 1:00pm, and a Reception from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Demaine Funeral Home located in Alexandria Virginia.
