Jay Watson Chambers, Sr., Lieutenant Colonel, U. S. Army (Retired) died on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at his residence. He is predeceased by his wife Patricia Goode Chambers, his son Jay W. Chambers, Jr., Colonel, U.S. Army and his daughter Maryann Chambers Tarel. He is survived by his two sons Christopher and Michael Chambers; 13 grandchildren Christopher, Matthew, Janna, Manon, J.T., Brandon, Joshua, Zachary, Taylor, Patrick, Ryan, Morgandi and Caitlin; 3 great-grandchildren Bennett, Heaven and Shayden.
Friends may call the Demaine Funeral Home, 520 S. Washington Street, Alexandria, VA 22314 where the family will be present on Saturday, December 1st from 1-4:00pm
A Mass of Christian Burial at Good Shepherd Catholic Church followed by interment with Full Military Honors will be held at a later date.
