What wonderful memories I have of Jean. I can picture her driving her convertable, blond hair flying and her big smile. Rosemary and I babysat for the older boys, and we loved it! 
Jean was always facinating,glamorous and warm-hearted. Later in her life she told me she loved to go to Annapolis. She loved the water and she told me the waves were like God's unending love. I never forgot that and I'll never forget her- in my heart and in my prayers. My love to all the family. Betsy Ross Doerken

Dear Becker family,

Ralph and I had the privilege of knowing your Mom at a good time in both of our lives. We were  excited about the things of God and we met together in a small group.. It was a blessed growing time. 

She was a lovely and gracious lady..full of God's grace, too.  Through her, we met the "boys".  We particularly knew Steve and Jim, who reflected the best of their Mom.  I am sure this is true of the rest of the family.

Although she was so good at many things {her love of beauty and design}, I know she would consider her boys, her greatest accomplishment.  You all were her crowning glory..  She gave the world and the Lord a gift in her children.  It was a gift, that blessed others and warmed the Father's heart. This gift will continue to memorialize her life..

She left the world a more beautiful place, because of  her talents and because of her life. .

I am sure, even now, she is overwhelmed with the lovliness of heaven.  Although she may be tempted to rearrange a few things!!

Thank you Lord, for letting Jean touch all of our lives.

We were so blessed to have vibrant mothers; ones who enjoy every day alive! We were introduced to life in a charming way, expected to participate in it and learned to enhance our lives & the lives of others. We were taught beauty & recognition of it in many venues. We can all be grateful.
Remember the name of your boat? "True Love!" How appropriate! I join the other condolences, remembering Jean as a love-giver, accepting us all as members of the greater family of God.

Although I only had her gift for a few years, she was my number one fan and I am glad that I brought her happiness when I got to sing in her presence. Dear Becker Family:  I have been thinking about your Mother Jean this morning and I remember one time back in the mid-1990's I took a day off work and  her and I played a round of golf at Belle Haven.  Afterwards we had lunch together.  I had such a good time.  Jean always made me feel welcome and I learned a lot from her by the way she was so kind to those around her, like the coat check person or the waiter at our table, the people who cleaned her condo....she was always concerned for their welfare and appreciated them so much.  That has been a fine example to me in my every day life.  I also appreciated her love for music, especially Broadway tunes.  I know your heart aches as you say so long to you mother.
