

The son of Emile Amee Levesque dit Amos Bishop.
After a long time being sick, Mack died at home on August 16, 2012 of Lung Cancer.
He moved to Alexandria in 1937 to work on building the National Airport.
Mack married his late wife Alena Coppa on May 16, 1942. Mack is World War II Vet. He served for four years. He received the bronze star from France and many others.
After coming back he was the supervisor of a trucking outfit, working on building the National airport. He owned and ran a junk yard and also farmed for many years. He taught welding to the inmates at Lorton Prison until he retired in 1982 after a car accident.
Mack remarried on November 4, 1991 to Mildred A Pelletier Jordan. Mack had a heart of gold and was admired by everyone. If someone ever had a problem he was always right there to help solve it.
He leaves behind a daughter Karen Bishop Vasilas and her husband Roger of Alexandria, Va. One Granddaughter Katherine and husband Chas Ramone and two grandsons Christopher and Thomas Vasilas. Mack also leaves a brother in law Frank Strobel and family.
He leaves two sisters, Margaret Lapointe from Tulsa, Oklahoma and Delvina Patterson, from Paw Paw, West Virginia. One brother Ray Bishop and his wife Ruth from S.Burlington, VT. Mack was also pre-deceased by his parents. One son Mack J. Bishop Jr. (Mackie) in 1981, one sister Winnie Sirkus in 1992 and husband Ben Sirkus. Brother Fred J in 2004.
He leaves many nephews and nieces …..too many to name. From his second marriage he leaves step children Dale Jordan and wife Kimberly. Steven Jordan and wife Aimee. Keith Jordan and companion Deveena. And Lucinda Jordan.
He also leaves many step nieces and nephews Jeri-Jean, Thabita, Samantha, Sara, Troy, Anjelica, Sierra, Dylan, Dakota, Daxton and Kobee.
