Mark was born in Washington, D.C. on August 24th, 1957 and grew up in Alexandria, Virginia. He was the son to Martha and Ralph Davenport.
Mark often noted that the greatest deal of his life was made in Kindergarten when he traded peanut butter crackers for a chocolate doughnut. Little did Mark know that this would set the foundation for the negotiation skills he would later use in his career.
In his late teens/early twenties Mark served in the US Army where he was stationed in Germany. After serving, he began working at the family business, Master Roofing & Siding, where he dedicated a majority of his life to the company. On September 11th, 1994 he married his wife Maria Davenport and had two children, Samantha, 26, and Andrew Davenport, 22. He devoted his life to Christ, his family, and the community around him.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Davenport; two children, Samantha and Andrew Davenport; two brothers, Tim and Jeff Davenport; his sister Suzanne Floyd; his step-son Michael Patzi; his granddaughter Kylie Patzi; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, April 23rd, 2021 at Master Roofing & Siding.
