Of Alexandria, VA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Bon Secours Memorial Regional Hospital in Mechanicsville, VA. Beloved wife of the late Robert Beckman; mother of Karen Beckman of Mechanicsville, VA; Donald Beckman of The Plains, VA; and Janet Jaufmann of Dumfries, VA. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Michelle Putnam, Jennifer Monaghan, Zach and Elizabeth Jaufmann, and Kelley Beckman; three great- grandchildren, Paige and Sarra Putnam, and Conor Monaghan. Friends may call at the Demaine Funeral Home, 520 S. Washington St., Alexandria, VA on Sunday, February 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, February 27 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church, 2907 Popkins Ln., Alexandria, VA, followed by interment at Mount Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria, VA.
