Mary Crosby Miller Law

Mary Crosby Miller Law, 101, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025, at Sunrise Assisted Living in Mount Vernon, Alexandria, VA. Born on August 15, 1923, in Norfolk, VA, Mary lived a remarkable life defined by devotion to family, resilience, and service.

The widow of William Thomas Law, an Army officer, Mary embraced a life of global travel, living in numerous countries as her husband’s military assignments changed. Her grace and adaptability made her a cherished presence in every community she joined.

Mary is survived by her three children: Gail Miller Law, William Thomas Law Jr., and Robert Allen Law; by her son-in-law, Joseph DiBella; and by her grandchildren: Michael Ryan DiBella, Joseph Law DiBella, Elizabeth Ellen Law, William Robert Law, and Jennifer Ann Law. She was predeceased by her husband, William, and by her grandson, Thomas Daniel Law.

Mary’s legacy of love and strength endures in her family and all who knew her. A funeral mass will be held on May 2 at 10:30 AM at Good Shepherd Church, 8710 Mount Vernon Highway, Alexandria, VA 22309. It will be preceded by a viewing at 9:30. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in her memory.
