Mary Cleer McLaughlin of Alexandria, VA died on Monday, January 7, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband James F. McLaughlin. Mary was a well known and loved crossing guard for the City of Alexandria.Loving mother to Brian O. McLaughlin and his wife Kimberly. Devoted grandmother to Brendan McLaughlin. Friends may call the Demaine Funeral Home, 520 S. Washington Street, Alexandria, VA 22314 where the family will be present on Thursday, January 10th from 2-4 & 6-8:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, January 11th at 10:00am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 310 S. Royal Street, Alexandria, VA with interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
