Robert, who preferred to be called Bob, was a loving and generous husband, father, brother, and friend. He’s best known for his incredible skills as a craftsman, carpenter, and mentor. Truly an artist, he could build anything, and loved to share his knowledge of the trade, especially with his daughter Sarah who grew up his right hand woman on job sites. He enjoyed scuba diving, hiking, camping, and all things ocean and forest. A treasure hunter at heart, he loved metal detecting, gem hunting, and even panning for gold in his front yard with loved ones. He cherished his pet friends over the years, notably his cat Rosemary who was by his side every moment until his passing. Bob’s big heart and love of laughter was a gift to anyone he knew. He is dearly missed and this day offers an opportunity to honor him and send him off with love.
Bob enjoyed celebrating New Year’s so we ask those in attendance of his celebration of life at Demaine’s Funeral Home to come dressed in your sparkliest outfit. Don’t be afraid to shine!
