On September 9, 2015, Ruth M. Knueven, of Woodbridge, VA, died of natural causes at the Westminster Health Services Center at Lake Ridge in Woodbridge, VA. She is survived by her beloved husband of 69 years, William and also beloved mother of three children, Karen Forrest of Woodbridge, Diane Dietz of Richmond, VA and Kenneth Knueven of Reston, VA. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Sean Forrest, Christopher Forrest, Danielle Dietz Bentsen, Denise Dietz, Jamie Dietz, and Phillip Dietz. In addition, she leaves thee great- grandchildren. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, she and William married in 1946. Her siblings predeceased her. A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in her name be made to the ASPCA.
