On Saturday, August 23, 2014 Thomas Hugh Burwell Meade of Alexandria passed away. Tom is the beloved husband of 57 years of Louise Leask Meade and father of Tom (Mary), Jimmy (Nancy), David (deceased) and Michael (Mary Beth). Tom's grandchildren Woody, Tressa, Patrick, Isaiah, Sarah and George Meade and Justin and Sarah Keys brought him great joy. Tom will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched and influenced with his quiet strength. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 30, 2014, 10:30 am at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8710 Mount Vernon Highway, Alexandria, Virginia 22309. A reception will follow at Mount Vernon Country Club, 5111 Old Mill Road, Alexandria, Virginia.
