Anna B. Knapp, nee Macevich, 84, of Apopka passed away November 14 after a brave fight with cancer. She was born December 21, 1930 in Chicago Illinois. She grew up in Niles Michigan, and in 1948 she began her long career in a variety of roles with the phone company, first as Bell Telephone, then as AT&T. In 1967 she married John Knapp and they settled in Central Florida, eventually in Apopka with a lovely yard on Bear Lake. When John predeceased her in 2009 Anna spent time with her many friends and family members and regularly attended St Francis Of Assisi Church in Apopka. She was an expert sewer from her youth and enjoyed her garden. She was a loving lady while still being firm in her convictions, a woman who will be missed by many for her warm heart and joyful personality. She is survived by her nephew Stephen Herman of New Jersey, cousins Richard Pocius of Illinois, John Pocius of Maryland, and Chris Pocius and Joe Pocius of Central Florida
