Celia was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. She was loved by everyone. Celia was beautiful, kind, gracious, loving and brave. Celia was the heart of her family, and she loved her family with her whole heart. Celia enjoyed cooking big, delicious Italian meals and hosting the family. Celia loved to talk with everyone, and create memorable family times. She enjoyed growing plants and flowers, and shopping with her sister-in-law and best friend, Darlene.
Celia loved giving gifts, especially to her cherished grandchildren. This gave her joy. To her California grandchildren, she was “Grandma Pearls.” To her Florida grandchildren, she was “Grammie.” Loved forever by all of them. Her children, Sandy and Peter, say Celia was the expression of pure, unconditional love. She was gentle, courageous and kind always. Celia and Wally were married for 28 years, and loved to go dancing and on cruises and vacations.
Celia is survived by her husband, Wally Schneiter; her children, Sandy (John), and Peter (Agnes), her 5 grandchildren: Victoria, Gabriella, Xavier, Colt and Cameron. Celia is also survived by her brothers Gregory Pirone (Katsuyo) and Daniel Pirone (Brenda). She was preceded in death by her brother Chris, and her late husband Joseph Prior. Celia was also loved by her many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Celia’s family and friends will be forever grateful for the sunshine she brought to their lives. Celia will be missed, and her family looks forward to being reunited in Heaven one day. They will face their tomorrows with the grace and courage she lived, while always hearing her cheerful voice echo in their hearts.
A Celebration of Life service will be held for Celia on Tuesday, April 15 from 12 pm until 1 pm at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home Chapel West in Altamonte Springs.
