Clara Mae Pethtel

Clara Mae Pethtel, 90, of Zellwood, FL passed away on November 13, 2015. She was born to the late Bill and Lieu Brady in Mt. Clare, West Virginia on December 3, 1924. Clara Mae was known for her devotion to Jehovah and her love for her family. She was married to the late Lonnie Pethtel until his passing in 1979. Prior to his passing, Lonnie and Clara shared many wonderful years together. The two enjoyed dancing, particularly the Jitterbug. Clara cherished her time with her family and loved going on picnics, solving crossword puzzles, visiting the country in West Virginia, and was always there for her grandchildren. She was a devout follower of her Jehovah and knew her bible well, and loved sharing the bible with others. Clara will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. She was preceded in her passing by her husband, Lonnie; daughter, Barbara Thompson; grandchildren Allen Jr. and Lenny; 1 brother; and 4 sisters. Clara is survived by her children Lonnie Pethtel Jr., Carley Pethtel, Linda Hollands (Frank), Terry Smith, Allen Pethtel, and Kim Malcolm (Jimmy); grandchildren Reba, Jason, Mary, Brenda, Scott, Dawn, Tammy, Jack, Jodi, Clint, Kelsey, Della, and Todd; great-grandchildren Stephanie, Jessie, Justine, Casey, Bethany, Clayton, Ty, Dalton, Jack Jr., Briar, Darian, Garrett, Brandon, Hailey, Brandon, Kyle, and Raelyn; and many other close family and friends.
