Dana Norman Rennebu

Dana was born on January 15, 1949, in Rochester, New Hampshire, to Barbara Spurling Rennebu and John Elliot Rennebu. In 1957, the family relocated to Winter Park, Florida, where Dana attended Edgewater High School, forming lifelong friendships and memories.

Dana married his high school sweetheart, Mary Williams, and together they recently celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary. Their enduring love was a testament to devotion, partnership, and joy. Dana and Mary were proud parents to two children, Steven and Jodi, who brought immense pride and happiness to their lives.

Dana was an avid sports enthusiast who found joy both on and off the field. He enjoyed golfing, a passion which he shared with his father and brothers; cherishing the time they spent together on the course. He also excelled in league and tournament bowling with his son and brothers. He loved playing the pinball machines and you had to pull him away when it was his turn to bowl, trading off with his brothers, or each played a separate flipper. Dana's greatest joy came from teaching others, whether it was sports or how to drive, passing his knowledge and passion to his children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Loved going on family ski trips with all the family and spending time with them making more memories. A dedicated employee, he managed Earls Produce for over 35 years.

Dana will be remembered as a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend, whose legacy of kindness, humor, and love will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Dana is survived by his beloved wife, Mary; his son, Steven (Vanda) his Mother, Barbara, his sister, Linda Rennebu-Ruff; his brother, Alan (Julie), his 5 grandchildren, Alex, Logan, Kirsty, Kameron, and Aubry, his 3 great grandchildren, Ava, Addison, and Alex Jr., his 2 god children, Josh and Ryan, with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John; his daughter, Jodi Rennebu-Test; his brother, Paul; and his sister, Sandy.

A Visitation for Dana will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 90 Weathersfield Ave, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714. A Celebration of Life will occur Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 90 Weathersfield Ave, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714. A Graveside Service will occur Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Dr, Winter Park, FL 32789.
