David Joseph DiFonzo

David Joseph DiFonzo, age 65, of Winter Park, Florida passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Advent Health Winter Park. He was the Husband of Debra (Costa) Difonzo of Winter Park, Florida. They would have celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary this June. Born January 26, 1957. He was the son of the late Joseph Difonzo, the late Annette (Adams) Difonzo Andrews and the late Anthony J Andrews.

David's passion for sports began when playing hockey for Pawtuckett West High School. He shared this love of sports with his son, following him to every Baseball and Softball game where he was affectionately known as Pops to all. He was a hard-working man who genuinely loved his job as a Truck Driver. His favorite passion later in life was bass fishing with his son. He was an excellent Husband, Father, Brother and Grandfather.

In addition to his wife, Debra (Costa) Difonzo, David is survived by his son, Anthony (Donna) Difonzo; his two Grandchildren, Laney Difonzo and Alexis Edwards; his soon-to-be Great-Granddaughter, Lily Marie; five siblings, Joyce (Bill) Percival, Kenneth (Melissa) Difonzo, Carol (Marcel)Phaneuf, the late Donald (Heidi) Andrews (2020) and the late Robert (Charlotte) Andrews (2022); and several Nieces and Nephews.
