She graduated from Fort Plain High School and spent the majority of her life as a homemaker but also worked in sales for several different companies. She enjoyed singing in the church choir and reading.
She is survived by her daughters, Allison Swengel and Kim Dobbs (Jim); and her sons Mathew Swengel and Peter Swengel (Lynn) along with 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John and daughter Hillary.
