Denny Virginia McManamy

Denny was born in West Virginia and raised in Altoona, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Claire and Lillian Worrell. Her parents, two brothers, and two sisters preceded her in death.

She married Kenneth McManamy on September 25, 1943. During her husband's' military career, she joined him overseas.

She volunteered with the Red Cross serving as both a Grey Lady and a nurses aid at military hospitals. Joining in 1950, she was a lifetime member of the order of Eastern Stars.

Retiring to Florida she enjoyed crafting and golf.

She was the honorary great grandmother of David and Lily Sprague.

She is survived by her beloved son, Sean McManamy, his wife, Rachel McManamy, and her nephew, Donald McManamy.

She is joining her husband, buried in Bushnell National Cemetery.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 1:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 1:30 pm. Both services will be held at Baldwin-Fairchild East Altamonte, located at 994 E Altamonte Dr, Altamonte Springs, Florida, 32701.

An Inurnment Service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Florida National Cemetery, located at 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513.
