He was born January 9, 1937 to John and Doris Lyon in Manchester United Kingdom. He was raised in Tyldesley United Kingdom and then relocated with his family to Canada. During his time there, he was on the Sarnia Police Force, owned a bakery “Cakes by Lyon” and then owned his own security company. He moved to Wekiva Springs Florida in 2003, where he married his wife Lory Lyon.
He served two years in the Royal Air Force and received a culinary degree.
In his free time, he loved to play golf, and he was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a devoted husband, and took excellent care of his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, as well as 2 daughters through marriage, 2 sons and 1 daughter, and 8 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 brothers and 1 sister.
