Enrique "Henry" Ravelo, 82, of Altamonte Springs, FL passed away at his home on March 21, 2015 surrounded by his family and friends. He was born to the late Rafael and Maria Ravelo in Chaparra, Cuba on February 18, 1933. It was here that he met and married his wife of 56 years, Carmen Rodriguez. Together, they were very active in the Seventh-Day Adventist church. Henry worked for Florida Hospital for 28 years. He loved to keep busy helping others and was known for such throughout his lifetime. He will be deeply missed. Henry is survived by his wife, Carmen; daughters Raquel Ravelo Creamer and Pilar Merchan (Fernando); honorary son Joaquin Velazquez; brothers Agustin and Julio Ravelo; sister Teresa Ravelo; grandchildren Andrew McKinney, Victoria Creamer, Terry Creamer, and Nicholas Agustin Merchan. Visitation will be held on Tues., March 24 from 6-7pm at Forest City Spanish Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1226 Bunnell Road, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714. Service will follow at 7pm. Burial at Highland Memory Gardens on Wed., March 25 at 10am.
