Eva Matheny

She passed from this earth December 30, 2025.

Eva is survived by her three sons: Phill Hill Jr. (Kathy) of Boynton Beach, FL, Michael Hill of Geneva, FL, Kenneth Hill of Port Orange, FL and her daughter Kaye (Hill) Allen (Johnny) of Casselberry, FL plus 7 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by love of her life, Ret. Navy Petty Officer, William (Bill) Matheny.

Eva was very active in the purebred dog world, raising well over 75 AKC Pekingese champions. She was highly respected and loved within the dog show community. She was a founding member of Seminole Dog Fanciers and served as President and Show Chairperson for many years which is still active today. Additionally, she and Bill had an aviary for some years raising large tropical birds such as macaws.

Eva will be remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and we will miss her sense of humor, kindness and charm. We were blessed to have had her our lives.

A visitation will be held on January 6, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at SE Funeral Homes of Florida LLC, located at 994 E Altamonte Dr, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701.

The funeral service will take place on January 6, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the same location.

A graveside service will follow on January 6, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at All Faiths Memorial Park Cemetery, located at Park Drive and, Casselberry, FL 32707.
