Harold Joe Baggett

Harold Joe Baggett, 85, of Altamonte Springs, FL, passed away on February 11, 2016. He was born to the late John and Cornelia Baggett in Winston, GA on August 27. He served in the United States Air Force for 22 years and retired in 1971 at McCoy Air Force base. He was a successful business owner for over 25 years. Harold was preceded in his passing by his wife of 47 years, Lois Baggett; and his siblings and their spouses, John Baggett (Ruth), Elsie McClendon (Berwin), and Mildred Simpson (Loey). He is survived by his children Darlene Brandt (Chris), Diane Schmitt (Barney), Debbie Wisner (Joe), Missy Whitman (Daniel), and Joe Baggett, Jr.; siblings Jack Baggett (Claudine), Charles Baggett (Mary), and Martha Hales (Lamar); grandchildren Kimberlee Smith, Kipp Hester, Frankie Chisari, Ben Chisari, Jennifer Saul, Jamie Wisner, Emily Wisner, Philip Spence, and Bonnie Penn; 12 great-grandchildren; as well as many other close relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, February 15 from 5:30-9:00pm at Baldwin Fairchild East Altamonte, 994 E Altamonte Drive, Altamonte Springs, FL, 32701. Funeral Mass will follow on Tuesday, February 16 at 1:00pm at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 861 Maitland Ave., Altamonte Springs, FL 32701. Full military honors will follow the Mass. Flowers are welcome, or donations can be made in memory of Harold to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are under the care of Baldwin Fairchild East Altamonte.
