Henry Butler II born May 8th 1915 in New Bedford, MA He was the husband of the late Marie Natalie Quintal and the son of the late Daniel Butler and Evelyn (Lavoie) Butler. An avid sportsman all his life, in his early years he played for the Brooklyn Hispanos soccer team, the Firestone basketball team, the Irish American basketball team and the King Phillip softball team, . He was employed with Firestone Co. until he entered the United States Army where he retired as a Colonel. He earned the WWII Victory Medal, the Korean Service Medal, the UN Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. He leaves four children Marie Natalie Tamborella of Fall River, MA; Patricia Carol Pamatian of Casselberry, FL; Henry Wayne Butler of Montgomery, TX; and Cynthia Diane Smith of Fern Park, FL; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and one niece. He was the brother of the late Florence Baptist.
