James Louis "Jimmy" Neff

James Louis Neff, known as Jimmy, was born on March 26, 1935 in Philadelphia, PA. He was peacefully called home on June 19, 2016 with family by his side. Jimmy was a long time resident of Deltona, Fl. Jimmy spent his early years as a professional boxer and entrepreneur he was a strong man with a loving heart. Jimmy is reunited with his parents Benjamin and Alice Neff, his brother Billy and his wife Betty. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Eileen Coppola Neff, his brother Johnny Neff his wife Jean and his sister Dotty Loose and her husband Bob. His six children, Michelle Best, Jamie Rogers, Eileen Conner, Donna Terry, Joseph Holmes and Michael Holmes; sixteen grandchildren, Asier his wife Danielle, Andrew, Mikel, Kimberly, Stephanie, Robert, Tiffany, James, Diana, Jennifer, Anthony, Christina, Melissa, Chelsea, Joseph (“JJ”), Grace; eight great-grandchildren, Joseph (“Joey”), Luka, Layla, Khloe, Addison, Skylar, Aidan, Jack and several nieces. Also his sister-in-law, Lena Rose Coppola, who held a special place in his heart. Son-in-law; Scott Terry and Robert Best whom Jimmy considered like a son, and daughter-in-law, Alison Holmes. Jimmy was a peaceful man who loved life, the beach, good food, music, dancing and sports. He will be remembered for his patience, wonderful conversations and love for his family. His calm presence will forever be felt by his family and friends.
