I am so sorry to hear of Uncle John’s passing. I too remember the wonder visits to Michigan City with our family (Will and Karen Meyer). They were always full of laughter and fun times! Vicki, Julie, Lisa and family, you are in my thoughts and prayers as you endure this difficult week.

I always enjoyed our trips to Michigan City when I was small. So much fun! My favorite memory is when Uncle John came to visit and stayed with my dad. He slept on the couch under one of dad's turkeys! They had a good time visiting their sisters and going out to dinner. My dad talked about the visit a lot and that's saying something. Rest In Peace, Uncle John.

RIP Uncle John, my Godfather. Fond memories of visits with his family in Michigan City. Many times driving Grandma Eis to see them. Lovely family involved in their church. He was an outstanding car salesman and sold me my first Corvette.
